I never thought I could get emotional watching anything like this. Go ahead. Try to not cry.

Not gonna lie. I cried like a baby all the way through that. I'm not too proud to admit it.

oh my gosh! This was the best video ever. I've literally watched it 7 times. She totally fulfilled her life long dream and they gave her a standing ovation! I love it. I want to give her a big hug. I'm going to steal this and post it on facebook. This is the longest comment ever, but this really made my day. Thanks, Eric!

I have to admit - they started her interview and I was like "Oh no, I cnanot watch this" because I assumed they'd make fun of her. Plus the blog I saw it on first alluded to the fact that it was horrible.

So I sat with my finger on the button to turn it off should the mockery begin...but what a surprise! While I did not cry (which is strange b/c I always do) I did get goose bumps and have to watch it all over again.

I'm glad you loved it too...

I thought I could handle your challenge. I probably should have known better.
And it didn't help that Les Mis is by far my favorite musical.
Nice post.

Perhaps part of the reason this has received so much attention is because people resonate with the song's timely message. Things were once prosperous and "life worth living." But, as the song says, "The tigers come at night...and turn your dreams to shame."

It's a sad song and it's true. That's why people cry when they hear it.
